The Cremerie de Paris has a long history .... the Nicolas V de Villeroy years

before .... Louis XIV at Versailles (6/7)

  The magic is still there

The times when Louis XIV, Francois de Villeroy and Catherine de Villeroy
were playing as children at the courtyard of the Cremerie de Paris / Hotel de Villeroy are long ago ...

The times they lived at the Chateau de Versailles are also long ago ...

But the magic is still there
even though the perception of the moon has changed
...
But would Louis XIV have imagined that one day
someone that walked on the moon
would actually come to walk around his park ?

          Magic places attract magic people

This long article has tried to explain a little the connections
between Louis XIV and the Cremerie de Paris.

But even centuries later unusual people are still in connection with our Cremerie

With the most "adventurous" one
we had the idea to make a little excursion to Versailles ...

The pictures were lost on the harddrive of an old computer
but while writing this article in december 2013
the editor had the idea
to search through some old emails ...
and thanks to the amazing quality of Gmail
suddenly
reappered an email from October 2005 with some "souvenir pictures".

In the park of Versailles
on the left of this picture the man from the Moon
on the right the Grand Trianon

Snapshots with the man from the Moon, the same man you see in the Video below.

In the snapshot pictures there
 is also his wife Lois,
the editor of the article
and a women with sunglasses.

Thanks to her we knew many things about the Cremerie
long before our times. Back in 1938
Coco Chanel took her for the first time ...
She has allowed us to go by the barriers of time ...

The woman with the glasses was a legend all by herself,
soon we will write an article about her.
Already over 100 years old
she still fascinated the man that was on the first flight to the mood ...

                      Half a century earlier ....
she had already fascinated the one that took the decision
                      to go for that trip.
In fact she was the girlfriend of his older brother Joseph Kennedy.

And again some time before in 1930,
                      year the astronaute was born
she fascinated a man who had also widely contributed to the fligh,
due to his multiple inventions he had made.
                        Thomas Edison.

Edison, was the father of the light bulps that light up
the Chateau de Versailles at night.
He had left her a little broche, a flower with two pearls.
When he was younger he had bought the broach in Paris
                        while visiting a friend,
                        Gustave Eiffel.

Day & Night Moon seen from Versailles

                        Day Moon
                        over Versailles

                        Evening Moon over Versailles

                        Night Moon
                        over Versailles

walking around the park just before Xmas 2013,
a friend of the Cremerie called "Day moon" gave us the idea
to take these Versailles Day Moon pictures
                        to complete the article ...

With the cold winter weeather the Moon was very visible in the sky.

Thank you for having read the entire article ...
You have been very brave, Dear Reader, to come to the end
(the article was a bit long).

                        You can think:
"this article is a bit crazy & funny,
these passages about detroction of the beautiful environments of Paris through real estate promotion,
these excursions through the early years of the Internet,
and now a walk on the moon ...
What a special way to write about a historic person that lived 300 years ago
It's almost written as if Louis XIV was still there ... ".

At least it's not a "past copy" of some information found
                        in a history book
... no on the contrary it's living since 20 years
                        on a magic spot
without even realising it at the beginning.

                        mail ("b at vb.com")
                        ou facebook

                        beginning of the article ....
